The Stepping Ahead Leadership Conference (SALC) Benin 2025 officially opens today at the Centre Béninois des Langues Étrangères, Campus Marina – Cotonou.
The event, organized by the Youth Arise Organization (YAO), is being held under the theme “Igniting the Future: Youth Leading Global Change.” It marks the beginning of a multi-day leadership development experience designed to empower young people to take active roles in shaping Africa’s future and influencing global change.
This year’s conference brings together emerging leaders from across the continent for a series of interactive workshops, leadership training sessions, and networking forums. Participants will explore key issues such as innovation, vision-driven leadership, and social impact, while developing practical strategies for creating change in their communities and beyond.
Key speakers for SALC Benin 2025 include Moses Baffour-Awuah, Global CEO of the Youth Arise Organization, and Alexis Paraiso, Lecturer and former Head of the English Department at Cebelaé. Both speakers are expected to share timely insights on leadership, education, and youth empowerment in the African context.
The conference forms part of Youth Arise Organization’s vision to raise well-endowed and productive young people that will take up leadership roles and make meaningful contributions in their communities and continues its tradition of inspiring, equipping, and connecting a new generation of transformational leaders.
