Youth Arise

# Youth Work Matters

Don't live life by chance; but choice

Today is the seed for tomorrow. Do not take for granted each day.

Frequently, today lays the groundwork for tomorrow's success. Approach you tasks and challenges with care, even amidst adversity, and remember that your present actions shape your future path.

MISSION

To advocate for and empower young people, women, and children with relevant social skills through capacity building, support programmes, learning exchanges and business incubation.

VISION

To raise well-endowed and productive young people that will take up leadership roles and make meaningful contributions in their communities

END IN MIND

To be a global organization of every race, color, tribe, culture that empowers young people, women and communities to significantly increase their performance in all spheres of life in order to achieve worthwhile purposes.

Background

OUR STORY

Every idea starts with something unusual. Our story was inspired by Mr. Moses Baffour Awuah, who as a student of Central University, Ghana saw the benefit he had from mentoring relationships and organized a group of high school leavers  to teach them about leadership and mentorship. As with any other idea, this has evolved to become a global leadership conference.

I love YAO because I just can't get enough of everything I've experienced and the opportunities that I've had as a result of being part.

I just love the family and everything we do

Alice Dawson Past Participant LDTP'18

I believe that the youth are the future of our Country Ghana. Hence, getting more youth on board through publicity will equip , prepare and set them on the Right Paths of Purpose in Life. I am still in YAO to help get more youth on board.

Joel Tawiah CEO -- Cashtell

YAO is a dream come true. During my days in JHS one when I got to learn about the history of Ghana, I had a sudden urge to become someone of influence to help the country. So when Chief came to my school to publicise YAO, I was soo happy that this is an opportunity for me. I am still in YAO because it's the right place for me.

Doreen Dakey Past Participant LDTP'18

For me YAO is more than an organisation or a skill development front. YAO is more after a family for me. YAO has instilled in me some values that I may no have come across anywhere else. I am committed to YAO
